Introduction to Command Trees

All factions have access to a command trees. You chose which command tree you want to use - each faction has access to three seperate command trees. The Americans have Infantry, Airborne, and Armor. Axis have Defensive, Blitzkrieg, and Terror.

Command trees give the player access to special abilities unique to that tree. With the different sides and command trees, there are many possible combinations, allowing the player to choose whatever suits their playstyle best.

To gain command abilites, you have to gain command points. You gain command points by buildings things, killing things, or having your own units killed. Killing or building big things gives big rewards, and killing/building small things give small rewards. To completely purchase everything in your tree will require alot of command points, and it will likely take you some time to aquire all of them.

Each tree has two seperate branches with 3 tiers. Tier 1 abilities are cheap, and lead to a tier 2 ability which are usually more expensive than tier 1 and lead to tier 3. Tier 3 are usually the most expensive and the most powerful abilites which can can range from calling down artillery fire, force enemy infantry to retreat, calling in off-map combat groups and/or unlocking special units you can build. Some abilities are passive, and once purchased with command points give a certain bonus to something, such as increasing production speed or equipping all your base structures with a defensive machine gun. Some abilities cost manpower or ammuniton to use while others, like Supply Drop in the Airborne tree, are completely free.

Below is an example of the command tree:
