Officially named the Homeworld:Cataclysm Advanced Multiplayer Handbook, this was a very thorough and complete analysis of multiplayer combat strategies and tactics for Cataclysm. Also defined are relative strengths and weaknesses of the various ships and explanations of known bugs and exploits in the game.
Authored primarily by momoguru and 1_Alpha, with many contributions from the Cataclysm WON community and Relic Forums members.
Considered required reading for entry-level players in most Cataclysm WON armadas, the title is often shortened to the "Cata Bible" in conversation.
The Cata Bible was regarded as controversial by some, who held the belief that having such a reference available to the general player community discouraged originality or that the clear explanation of exploits encouraged their use online. Most players simply regarded it as a useful point of reference on which to build their own strategies.
