Canoness Selena Agna

"I have yet to find a cinder that was not faithful in its praise of the Emperor."

Selena Agna leads the Order of the Sacred Rose to purge the Kaurava system of heresy. The lax Imperial Guard have allowed the system to become utterly corrupted, the Blood Ravens have refused to cede authority to the Emperor's holiest warriors, and foul xenos have overrun three of the worlds in the system. If the entire Kaurava system is not put to the flame and cleansed, it will surely develop into a threat to the Imperium. Selena Agna and her Sisters of Battle will stop this blasphemy now before it spreads any further.

Tactics

The first wargear choice should generally be the Rosarius to provide Selena Agna with a significant edge in commander duels. Agna cannot take on most enemy heroes one-on-one, and because the primary commander is free for both sides, her lower purchase cost isn't an advantage during the campaign. The Power Sword should be next. Agna is a melee commander, and the damage upgrade provided by this wargear is massive, particularly against units with daemon armor. If early detection is proving a challenge, the Sabbat Pattern Helm will make Agna a detector, but because her primary role is in melee combat the ranged damage boost will go largely unused. Attach her to an Elite Mistress Repentia Squad when available to improve her survivability and provide her with a speed and damage boost from Righteous Fervor.

When fighting Selena Agna with all her wargear, be aware that the health degeneration from the Emperor's Blessing wargear is permanent, so any units struck by it are essentially marked for death. Keep far, far away from her in the late campaign and take her down using ranged weaponry.
