Ammon Ra has generated absurd and impractical explanations for his Gallery Forum contributions in the past. Many of his mechanical designs are Wizzard Powered™. He is a Forum 3D/2D artist currently at University studying Engineering in England, and has a habit of not finishing things due to his exceptional laziness.

Forums

A long-time Member, with a decent post count under his belt. Homeworld Was his reason for joining the board back in 2002 and he has remained there ever since. Most of his contributions have been in the Gallery Forum, renamed to the Studio, Involving predominantly 3D models with the occasional scanned drawing. After acquiring a cheap tablet in mid 2006 he has tested his luck with painting and drawing in programs like Photoshop and Open canvas

This was more of an experiment into seeing how well he was at drawing with a tablet, and was not really intended to be a direction he would choose professionally. It has come handy though, making texture editing and tweaking very easy. His 3D artwork, though, is similar enough to AutoCAD programs used in engineering to justify the extensive time spent tweaking vertices and polygons, and is also a hobby that he enjoys. An alternative time-sink is the modding and mapping part of games, of which Source has claimed the most hours creating and playing self-made Half-life maps.

His most recent additions have been called Candy ships Due to their similarity with real candy, and has helped him define a certain rendering style.
