The AmazingSkills incident occured when a hacker named AmazingSkills managed to gain administrative control over the Relic Forums, which was at the time administered and moderated only by Sorak. The text below is pieced together from a post by Talon one day after the incident.

Hey!

OK, to do my part to clean up the mess here I'm going to give a little condensed version of what happened to the Relic forums this April the 20th:

The Relic UBB forum was hacked by a ']-[/\x0r' by the name of AmazingSkills (whose name, BTW, has officially been variated to several, much less kind terms at the hands of our heroes of la Resistonce [more on this later]). He broke in, took away Sorak's account, and set himself as a little dictator of the forums for a few hours. He claims to be a lurking denizen of the Editing forums (that bastard! How DARE he desanctify our holy realm?), and got disgruntled with Sorak's quiet, controlling way of ruling the forums. So, of all things, he decides to hack in and 'brng stranjness bak 2 th forums' in his own twisted version of English grammar edited by a crackhead hyena. He futzed up the Forums in several ways, and putting up all sorts of derogatory, idiotic posts and replies.

AmazingSkills was resisted by the Relic Boards REVOLUTION, a group of self-proclaimed defenders of the RB. for a few hours, several people, namely:

• Mantis

• Matt (the pimp) *sacrificed himself for the cause*
• Sorak

• Talon

...and a few others joyously flamed A.S. with words that turned the forums black and curdled the air with their potency. When he got tired of being told such incredible constructions such as:

May the Bentusian Fire Gnats of a thousand camels of Arabia infest your crotch. - Matt (the pimp)

I hope someone drives a rusted nail through both your eyes. - Disco Stu

...and being called such names as:

You little sorry excuse for a bowl of rat vomit! - Matt (the pimp)

...he finally decided to leave us in peace. He restored Sorak to his former position where he now again reigns on high, banning stick tightly in hand. All that's left is to fix what he's wrecked, hope that he never returns here again, and hunt down his IP address so that we can do things to him to make SURE he never returns here again. Badges have been awarded to most of the people on the list up there, a little blue affair with a shiny medal to boot.
